ExtStore CodeGuard: Guardrails

Stop discount codes from eating your sale margin.

Install CodeGuard from the Shopify App Store, then open it from your Shopify admin.

• Exclude sale items. Items priced below their compare-at price are skipped; the rest of the cart still gets the discount.
• Cap percentage codes. “20% off, up to $100”, plus minimum and maximum cart values on percentage and fixed-amount codes.
• Protect your margin. Keep each item a set percentage above its cost, and leave subscriptions and pre-orders out of a code.
• Rules for the codes you already have. Minimum and maximum cart, first order only or logged-in customers only, with a clear message at checkout when a code is refused.
• Spot leaked codes. An alert when a code's use suddenly jumps, with one click to pause it, plus a weekly summary in the app and in Shopify Flow.
• Work faster. Save guardrails as presets, apply one to many codes at once, and create single-use codes for customer service.
• Set it on Shopify's discount page. No collections to maintain and no theme code.
